December 2022 Schedule
With this season and the year coming to a close, we wanted to give you a layout of what the rest of December will look like.
Week of December 12th-17th
Week of December 19th-24th
Important Note: The school is open Christmas Eve. Unless otherwise stated by the front desk, please remember to cancel any lessons that you know you will be missing due to the holidays at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a makeup.
Week of December 26th-31st
***It's Prep Week!*** School of Rock will be closed. There are no lessons or rehearsals this week.
If you are unfamiliar with this term, we use Prep Week to better serve our SoR community. Our team will be training & providing professional development for staff, preparing logistics for next season, repairing gear, improving facility needs, deep-cleaning, and providing students with a much needed break from the previous season’s hard work before diving into the next. It's an opportunity for us to hit the reset button and hit the ground running next season!
Important Note: No makeup lessons are issued for Prep Week. Our tuition is based on a yearly average. We do not charge extra for 5 week months.
Week of January 2nd-7th

- Rock 101 rehearsals will have in school performances for the last 20 minutes of rehearsal! Parents are encouraged to come in and watch the students perform the songs they've been working on. (Next season, Rock 101 will have more performance opportunities! More details to come.)
- Performance Groups (Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Southern Rock) It's a wrap week! During your regular rehearsal times, we will hold a small wrap party with snacks and drinks, we will review the performance as well as talk about next season's songs and themes. Then we will end the rehearsal with an open jam!
Week of December 19th-24th
- Private Lessons and Rookies continue as normal!
- Rock 101 rehearsals continue as normal as well. Starting in January, we will have a new set list!
- Performance Groups (Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Southern Rock) We will be offering free Master Classes and Workshops in place of your regular rehearsal. Below is the schedule:
- Tuesday - Gear/Tech and Stagecraft Workshop (7:00pm-8:30pm)
- This class provides an understanding of amplifiers, signal flow, signal processing, monitor and Front of House (FOH) operation. Understanding how your equipment works helps you be more effective on stage and troubleshoot on the fly. Even if you're a drummer!
- Wednesday - Music Theory Master Class (7:00pm-8:30pm)
- We believe both of these courses are greatly beneficial to any student in performance and will help you in your next show!
- Saturday - No Master Classes or Workshops due to it being Christmas Eve! You are welcome to attend one of the other classes!
- *Due to limited space, please let us know if you wish to attend a different day than your normal rehearsal*
Important Note: The school is open Christmas Eve. Unless otherwise stated by the front desk, please remember to cancel any lessons that you know you will be missing due to the holidays at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a makeup.
